It is the best addition you can make to your setup. I’m using this in the living room and it literally shakes the whole house! This thing is HUGE. Only downside was the high shipping cost to Bahrain in addition to the customs I ended up paying, but still worth it. I now wonder what the PB16 ultra would do to my place! Thank you Dubai Audio.

I’m not an audiophile by any means. I knew SVS speakers were a quality item before I purchased this and I needed a new sub because my current one died (for the second time!). The sale price was attractive and with the SVS name I was pretty sure it’d be fine. And indeed it was fine! Rocked the whole house and made movies sound like a theater. Pay attention to the size though. I didn’t realize the ported one was much larger than the non-ported one. In fact it’s large enough to sit on if you need another chair.

I upgraded from a Klipsch reference 12″ SW (R-112SW) with a bluetooth setup that I thought was pretty good, until it just up and died. I had a feeling it was going to be unsalvageable, so I took the plunge and got this ported SVS 2000, and the difference is remarkable. This thing is huge, weighs a ton, and rightfully moves the air through the room, which the Klipsch in no way could do. The grille for this sub is like a small fireplace screen it’s so big. When turned up, you feel the music and lows and it’s an experience, not just “something nice to listen to.” I have it paired with some Klipsch Heresey III’s and a Cambridge amp, and when turned up, you feel like you are right at the stage. It’s a lot of fun. I’m not sure where to go from here to upgrade since it’s already lifelike and plenty loud. Perhaps adding another sub would improve something but it would be marginally at this point. This subwoofer is another level up from most consumer subs. It’s worth the price if you really want to experience your music. I played the “Frozen” soundtrack through it for my 3-year-old daughter, and she thought she was on some sort of Disney ride it was so powerful and transcendent.

This sub is a beast! I have this sub paired with my PB2-ISD and sounds incredible with music and movies. If you have a small to medium size room you can’t go wrong with the PB2000 PRO.

I just couldn’t believe how much of a difference the pair of 2000 pro sub-woofers made to my 7.2.4 system. With one sub in the the front and the 2nd in the rear the sound just enveloped us.

I am simply amazed at the performance of these 2 sub’s in my 13000 cubic foot open basement. I tried a single PB-1000 pro at first and it was underwhelming for that space. I was worried the the dual 2000’s wouldn’t be enough but was very happy to find out that they are perfect. I can rattle the whole house, the sound is very controlled, and man do these hit hard and low. I’ve had several people comment on how low they go.
Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

Needed a subwoofer for my 1500 sq ft basement to match a pair of Klipsch rf3. Have owned Polk audio and Miller&Kreisel subs in the past. Spent hours looking at subwoofer reviews. Very difficult to choose when the market is overloaded with all types stated theirs are the best. Hard to shop when you cannot test/listen the sub and have to trust the reviews. My goal was to stay under $1,000. After reviewing Hsu, SVS, Polk, Velodyne, Klipsch, Psb, and a list of others I began to focus on subs from Hsu and SVS. Narrowed down to the Hsu vtf3 mk5 and SVS pb2000. Very tough decision based on reviews especially on the Hsu because of its high spl rating but I choose the SVS pb2000. It arrived and I was very pleased to see the quality of packaging. When I opened the box I was surprised to see this thing is big. After hooking up to my system using my receivers crossover lfe and tuning to my ears I could not believe the sound quality and the punch it provides. Not only does it get down low it provides smooth quality bass with low distortion. I have no drywall up so can’t wait to hear this in an enclosed room. From fit to finish this company knows how to make a great product. I could not image 2 of these side by side or the next step up pb12 plus.

Purchased this to replace a ten year old, busted amplifier, Velodyne DLS4000. I thought my old Velodyne was big, this is way bigger. The sound isn’t as punchy as my servo controlled Velodyne, but in return, the SVS hits notes that my Velodyne could never hit. Not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just a different experience. I can feel movie explosions now where as before, I could hear them. My first impression gave me the feeling that my new SVS wasn’t as loud, but after some crossover and AV adjustments, my SVS left me with my jaw dropped. Incredible performance, incredible bass notes, and a driver that didn’t seem phased by anything I throw at it. I can only hope this sub lasts me over ten years like my old Velodyne did. It blends flawlessly with my Athena S.5’s. Subtle when it needs to be, but erupts with bass murder when called upon. Great sub at a very fair price. Now to save up for a second one!
